Kids Choice Awards

So if you follow me on other platforms you may have seen that I got invited to the Kids Choice Awards.

It was a lovely blessing to be mentioned in some wonderful articles alongside some pretty cool stars.

I had such a great time & actually got to interview some of the nominees for favourite TV show, favourite actor etc

It was good experience & a great first step into hosting.

I was a tiny bit nervous at first.

Just a tiny bit.

But as I got through one or two interviews everything changed.

It felt really natural & those I was interviewing really gravitated towards me.

I’ve always known I had a thing for hosting so this was great confirmation.

Hopefully I’ll get chosen to host a show we all know & love soon enough.

I do not have a hosting background or credentials however so that is why this was important to me because it’s the beginning of building my hosting CV (resume).

You’ve got to show them you’re the one these days.

Put yourself in position.

Not wait to be asked.

Bc you’ll be waiting forever.

This brings me to my next topic.

ZC The Podcast

Oh yes.

You read it right.

You’re first to find out.

So…

This past week I hosted my first podcast.

With who?

You guessed it.

The starting 5 girl islanders plus Mady.

Sydney, Sereniti, Courtney, Deb, & Mady.

As of now I only plan on doing this one & one with the boys of Love Island.

But if it is to be successful then who knows?

It has been something I’ve wanted to do for a while so finally I told all the girls, got the schedule sorted & made it happen.

Promo for it will be released later this week & then it will premiere on YouTube some few days after.

Super exciting!

But let me tell you.

It wasn’t all smooth sailing.

LMAO.

A lot went down.

& I’m here to spill it to you first bc everyone is going to have questions & ZC NATION needs to know the tea first.

So basically there was drama between Sereniti & Sydney.

You will see some of it unfold on the podcast.

Sereniti asked me to scrap any footage with her in it meaning the whole hour long podcast we recorded on the first day with all the other girls but I felt that was an unfair request for her to make.

Especially since Mady doesn’t live in LA either & a lot was said on there that was not able to be recreated in our second recording.

I originally said ok to keep the peace but have decided that it is not the best option here.

Essentially Sydney felt very undermined by Sereniti & like Sereniti was making sly remarks to her all in the name of “sisterly love”.

And Sereniti felt bullied bc she feels nothing she said was with ill intent & she actually felt she was supporting Sydney.

That’s all I’m going to say from my perspective.

The rest is up to them to explain should they choose to.

Courtney too felt Sereniti was hijacking a lot of the conversation & felt disrespected by her.

They talked it out but at the end of the day neither Sydney nor Courtney felt comfortable having Sereniti back for the second recording.

Courtney sent her a text explaining that it’s still all love but that they preferred to not have her in the second recording so they could get out what they wanted to say uninterrupted.

Sereniti wanted to come to the second recording but I told her for the sake of completing my work it would be best she didn’t turn up.

Especially seeing as we got most of the information she wanted to discuss/address in the first recording.

This is when she said she didn’t want me using any of her footage at all then.

So this is why you will not see Sereniti in the second recording.

They also unfollowed each other.

Yes guys.

I’m not making any of this up.

Lol.

I wish I was.

I just had to let it all out here bc who else can I talk to & let know what’s going on other than ZC NATION!

I will say…

I hope to have the 3 of them on another podcast of mine to see if they can put their differences aside & sort out their issues with each other.

The whole thing seemed like it escalated so quickly & out of nowhere, especially since everyone was SO excited to see each other Pre podcast.

I would say it was all a misunderstanding & I believe it was but at the end of the day they all have a right to feel how they feel & I can’t change that.

So yeah guys.

But I spent a lot of time & money putting this together & I feel it wouldn’t be fair to me, the other girls or the viewers to scrap footage that Sereniti was completely ok with pre me discussing with her the girls sentiments about her coming to the second recording.

Speaking of Love Island tings...

Love Island All Stars

I’m not sure if any of you have heard but there is word circulating that there will be a Love Island All Stars filming in September 2023.

It will allegedly include islanders from the USA, UK, & Australia.

Say I was to be approached for said show…

I can neither confirm nor deny if I've been asked or not.

I am not sure how I feel about participating.

I have mentioned that I am not really interested in more reality TV & prefer to now focus on my acting & hosting endeavors.

However...

I’m curious on your thoughts ZC NATION.

Is it...

"Yes Z we wanna see you participate just ONE more time"?

Or is it...

"Nah Z we see you doing bigger & better!"
