The old lady in East London is back after another small hiatus.
Before my mother contracted serious dementia and as an immigrant West Indian; she always said to my siblings and I that “ All that glitters is not gold”!
How true in this social platform dominated world, where social interaction can be judged at the swipe of a finger! “Us older” and the more aware can usually sift through the b/s and recognise that nothing, NOTHING, comes easy in this thing called life.
