my fascination with KAT began the second I saw her walk through on my season.

She came in with a very sweet energy, she was super put together & just… mysterious.

A woman of few words.

She was focused, minded her own business but never failed to be kind & there for you if you needed her.

A very fun fact,

my yellow casa amor dress…

yea that was Kat’s 💛

I saw it in her closet and was immediately glued to it, and she said wear it…

I remember her telling us she was a mukbanger

which was a relatively new format of content at the time so I found it interesting…

How this gorgeous woman was able to consume large amounts of food and still maintain that body

& there was chat around the villa (somehow) that she was known/already had a decent following.

All I knew is I wanted to know more about her.

& I was desperate to get off the island and look into her.

“Hey Zeta, my love!

Thank you so much for having me here.

I am beyond thrilled. I feel so honoured

to be your first guest, first of all.

I am very excited to dive in and answer your questions”

ZC: There are so many facets/fun facts about you that we’re going to get to but let’s start with where the majority know us both from.

What made you want to go on? give all reasons not just the politically correct reasons

KAT:

“So honestly, a big reason I went on was just because dating in the real world really wasn't working out for me at the time.

I mean, dating in LA is no joke, as I'm sure many are aware of.

I just felt like I kept running into the same patterns and the same types of situations and

it just wasn't leading anywhere meaningful, really.

So when the opportunity came up to try something completely different, I thought, why not? You know?

So ultimately, I went on hoping to find a genuine connection.”

ZC: You ended up leaving with Jared on our season.

What made you feel so confident to make that decision? Prior to going on could you have predicted yourself ever making a choice like that? & do you regret it?

KAT:

“I think when you're in the villa everything is really heightened so you're with the same people 24-7

you're having really deep conversations all the time and it just creates this like very intense bubble

& I think at that point Jared and I had built a connection that felt real in that environment and leaving together just felt like the most honest decision I could make at the time.

Before going on the show I honestly don't know if I could have predicted making a choice like that.

I think you go in thinking you'll be like super logical about everything, but then emotions take over way more than you expect.

And I don't regret it. No, I mean, it may not have lasted long, but it was still a very real experience and a real connection.

at that moment in my life I felt like I just learned a lot about myself through it”

Is there any brief reason you can tell us about why that relationship didn’t work out?

KAT:

“I mean, the real world is just very different from the villa.

Once you leave, there's distance and schedules and real-life pressures and just a lot more outside noise,

& sometimes connections that work in that bubble just don't translate in the same way outside of it.

So there's no crazy tea, unfortunately,

but I think we just realized over time

that we were better going our separate ways”

ZC: You had quite the following already prior to LI right?

What was your following on each platform & where did it come from?

KAT:

“I believe I had about 80k on Instagram and just over 500,000 on YouTube I want to say.

So majority of my following came from my YouTube which if you're not aware is where I ate lots of food and whispered into a microphone”

ZC: Super impressive! Basically you were popping before you had the deal essentially 💅🏾

Personally I feel & have always felt that you will be a star! one of the big ones. Angelina Jolie levels 😍🥹 & I have noticed per your TikTok that you have been partaking in acting auditions

Is that something you’re deeply interested in pursuing & if so, long term or for fun? How deep is your attachment to it?

KAT:

“Zeta, you are literally the sweetest person ever on planet earth. Thank you. Coming from a star

herself, that means so much, honestly.

But acting is definitely something I am taking seriously right now and I really want to pursue long term.

I think the more I've gotten into it,

the more I've realized just how much I love it and how fulfilled I feel doing it.

Auditioning can definitely be a grind, but honestly, I enjoy it.

Every self-tape just feels like a little challenge and a chance to play around with something new and then at the same time you know

I try not to put too much pressure on it just because I know it is a tough industry and things”

What show past or present would be your dream role to star in/as?

KAT: “This is such a great question.

I really love shows that have really complex female characters, ones that are strong but also layered and messy in a human way.

And I guess something like Euphoria maybe or Tell Me Lies,

any psychological drama where the characters are just really deep & emotionally complicated would be so much fun”

ZC: I instantly said to myself, “Tell Me Lies” as soon as you said complex female characters. You would’ve played Lucy Albright stunningly.

Amongst your numerous hidden & unhidden talent lies your ability to um… f*cking figure skate???

When did you start this? & can you tell us any of your other hobbies/hidden talents?

KAT:

“Yes, so I started figure skating when I was about seven, I want to say.

I did it for around eight years, competing frequently in pair skating, synchronized solo and ice dancing.

I still enjoy skating every now and then just for fun

or when I want, I guess, a not so conventional workout.

But apart from skating, I'd say the only other hobby I'm passionate about is painting.

But I did recently get into sewing, so that's been fun as well”

ZC: Wowza! You’re incredible.

This question may sound either silly or invasive but at ZC vulnerability & truth are our core. We all deal with very unique insecurities…

Without disposing anything too personal to you, is there any insecurity you’ve had in life past or present that you care to share with us? & how has it affected your life… if in the past, how did you overcome it?

KAT:

“I have definitely been really hard on myself in the past.

For a while, I struggled a lot with comparing myself to others, especially growing up on social media and during my teenage years.

It was really difficult not to do that.

I guess this is a little personal, but I was recently diagnosed with

BPD,

or borderline personality disorder,

which has honestly explained a lot about how I used to feel and think, and it has been a process.

But learning about it has definitely helped me understand myself better and start actually being

kinder to myself.

So still a work in progress but things are looking up”

ZC: Sharing that will help so many people. I’m very glad discussing our mental health is becoming a lot less taboo & I’m so grateful you decided to trust us with that information.

Now although it’s no secret, something a few people don’t know about you is who your current partner is & that he happens to be a former islander from our season. Bryce 😍

When & how did this love story begin? how’s it going? Does it feel like a forever thing RN? Sure looks like it 🩶 or are you still just taking it day by day

KAT:

“So, funny enough, it actually started at a Love Island Games event that we both kind of decided to attend last minute.

I had just gotten back from Japan. I remember him being really enthusiastic to see me, which was kind of unexpected and strange.

And then later that night, Chanse, my little matchmaker, asked me how I felt about him, and I was like, oh, you know, he's cool.

He drove me home that night then picked me up the next day to bring me back to my car

& we ended up spending the whole day together and I think after that I was like okay he's

definitely more than just cool but um right now we are happily taking it day by day

It definitely feels like something special & he has helped me through a lot of my personal issues and I am beyond grateful to have him in my life”

Did you find him attractive on our season/think about him in those regards or did this come later?

KAT:

“Yes, I definitely did find him attractive on our season and he was actually one of the people that I mentioned I would like to go on a date with when I first entered the villa, but that didn't happen and we didn't really speak much at the time so I didn't put too much thought into it until that night”

Speaking of who you found attractive on the island, with all due respect to King Bryce (who I hope also graces the ZC WATN series as well in no time) let’s get into some juice 🧃

“I myself have always loved juice boxes and afternoon tea as well Zeta thank you for asking”

ZC: I feel like I really don’t know the answer to this. LOL!

Were you genuinely interested in Chazz? or just doing what had to be done to see another day w Jared or a stronger connection? (& remember NO shame here if so lol)

KAT:

“to answer your question um yes I definitely was into Chazz, uh I even remember telling production

like I really admire how much effort he puts in for the person that he likes like

I am huge on acts of service and he checked that box right away so yes I was interested”

Outside of who you left with & who you’re coupled up with IRL now, who else were you attracted to on our season? Give a list… regardless of what you know or feel about them now. Straight general attraction

KAT:

“Apart from Bryce and Jared…

I'd say Chazz, Zay, and Felipe.

Zay was definitely the person I would have gone for in the past, which was intriguing but also very worrisome.

Obviously everyone on our season was attractive, but they were the ones that caught my eye initially”

Have you ever had bi curious thoughts? 💭

/been in relationships with women?

I myself don’t consider myself bi but if you ever decide you are just know I’ll be here for you. Girl crush all day every day 😌

KAT:

“I have. I have dated girls before and honestly I just love women. There's so much to admire.

I'd probably explore more if it weren't for Bryce but girl crushes all day. Every day, no question.”

Are you interested in any more reality TV? What’s a show you would do or have ever been interested in. What about Too Hot to Handle or Perfect Match? or Traitors

KAT:

“Honestly, probably not. I definitely enjoy watching it, but I feel like I've had my experience.

That could always change in the future. Who knows? But for now, I am happily partaking in reality TV from my couch”

Are you a TV watcher? fav shows? movies?

KAT:

“Oh absolutely. Yes, there is nothing I love more than grabbing food and watching a good show.

Um, I feel like I have so many faves, but definitely to name a few, uh, normal people from Amazing Show,

Breaking Bad, of course, Vampire Diaries, Black Mirror, the list goes on”

ZC: you’re a bit of me, Black Mirror is ultimate fav.

Do you consider yourself a spiritual person? What are your spiritual views? Christian? Agnostic? Atheist? generally spiritual (knowingness of a higher power) Buddhist? x

KAT:

“I definitely consider myself spiritual. I wouldn't really label it as one specific religion. I just feel connected to something bigger and I guess I just try to live my life in a way that aligns with that energy.

Do you want kids? if yes, how many? If no, why not? x

KAT:

“I do eventually want kids, yes.

Preferably a boy and a girl, but whatever happens, happens, you know”

15.

How do you feel about the latest seasons of LI, how they’ve blown up & the toxic fandom? Would you say that’s something you’d have been ok with/been able to deal with?

KAT:

“Oh gosh. I mean it's just crazy to see how much it's blown up really and I do see how intense the fans get and honestly I'm not sure I could have fully handled that back when I was on the show.

It definitely is a lot to deal with and I give loads of credit to the islanders that came out of the villa to their entire lives being changed. I couldn't even imagine”

How have you dealt with handling any public negativity/scrutiny? Does/did it affect you or not really?

KAT:

“I had definitely gotten some negativity after leaving the villa,

um, but having been exposed to that kind of feedback on YouTube beforehand

I think really helped thicken my skin and now I just try to put my focus on what I can control

and try not to let other people's opinions get to me. It's not always easy, but I try”

Are you close to your family? Do you have siblings?

KAT:

“Yeah, I would say I am. I do have an older brother who I have gotten much closer with over the past few years, but I would say I'm close to them”

Fav foods?

KAT:

“Oh, easy. Crab legs. Specifically boiling crabs medium cajun with potatoes and corn.

But also rice. I love rice. All kinds of rice.

ZC: oh bby I knew we vibed bc I’m a rice head myself

World traveler? Where have you been? Where do you wanna go?

KAT:

“I definitely try to be. There is so much I have yet to see, but I am beyond grateful for the places I have been.

Japan, Bali, Europe, the UK, all just such lovely experiences, honestly.

But South Korea is next on my list, for sure”

ZC: Again, without feeling the need/any pressure to over share…

What’s next for you?

KAT:

“Right now I'm just really focused on acting.

I mean, I actually do have a horror movie coming out next week, which I am super excited about, but also pretty nervous.

So please be easy on me if you do watch it

but then there's also a psychological thriller

releasing later this year, which I am a part of as well.

So be on the lookout for that.

And beyond that, I am just trying to keep growing,

taking on projects that challenge me and seeing where it all goes”

What's something confidential you can share with us... what can you tell us about yourself that we don't already know or perceive? What is people's biggest misconception of you?

KAT:

“I promise you I am not a b-word. It's just my face.

But no, seriously, I do think a lot of people assume that I'm super serious and intense before they actually meet me,

when in reality, I'm just kind of shy.

I'm usually quiet, and starting a conversation doesn't come as easily as it seems, so I tend to keep to myself.

But I am definitely way more chill and friendly than I probably come across.”
