I just love it here! Your blogs are so freaking relatable!! I’m a dark skin black woman and back in my early to mid twenties, I got that some comment “you‘re pretty for a dark skin girl“. It was definitely a comment and not a compliment. Needless to say, I‘ve gone through some things in my life that tried to ruin my self-esteem and self confidence but it didn’t work! Fast forward to now at 49 I freaking love the skin I’m in and you can’t tell me sh**t!!😂😂...looking forward to next weeks blog❤️

Oh Zeta!This is so thoughtful and masterful. I’ve spoken to hundreds of women and leaders of color about overcoming the Imposter Syndrome and what you laid out here is 100% on point! Oh if I knew what you know when I was your age!!! (It would not have taken me almost 7 years to finish my doctoral dissertation.I love what you said about being careful of what kind of environment you are in and who you surround yourself with, it is so crucial. Society, communities, and yes sometimes families place us in boxes and we just accept it. I call these social contracts… indeed we are not limited by them.I love that you are sharing your truth AND sharing how…
